The wonderful world of RIVERS!

Right now, we are exploring the wonderful world of rivers.  We are currently learning all about how they came about and the various features they possess.


We will be going on to explore the rivers of Ireland and the world as well as learning how we, as humans, use rivers for our benefit.

This is a website that we will be using regularly to help us on our way.  It is full of interesting facts, 3D models and pictures.

Ireland: Physical Geography

Over the next two weeks, we will be learning all about Ireland's physical geography.  We will be covering rivers, mountain ranges, headlands, bays, lakes and islands.  We will also be learning how these magnificent natural features come about.

Ireland Geography WhizKidz!

Over the past two weeks, we have learned all the counties and county towns of Ireland.  On separate days, the kids were tested 5 times-one for each province and then an ALL-IRELAND test.

The results were outstanding, but a special mention to Éabha Moss, Poppy Mai Cullen, Benjamin Long,
Eoin Cully, Ryan Connolly, Lara Brennan and Conor Delaney who got 100% in ALL 5 tests  Great work guys!
